Apa 247 is a bi-monthly UK-based apa dedicated to the Legion of Super-Heroes. The Apa includes fans of every era of the Legion, has (optional) Legion-related mailing themes and loads of stuff about comics, TV, films and sci fi in general (and anything else we fancy talking about). While paper-based fannish activity might seem a bit old school, we like it that way – it’s a hoot! It's also a lot friendlier than online fandom often is - none of that abusive instant reply nastiness!

The latest bi-monthly mailing (#134, February 2012) came out to a fine 218 pages.
